LET'S UNITE as ONE MUSLIM UMMAH

Asalam Mu'aleikum Warahamatullah wabaruqatuhu auzubillah minashaitan ni rajeem Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Rahim I met an old friend and during our discussion he asked, "are you not an Alasunnah?" "I'm a Muslim" I responded. I was amazed to realized he was surprised. Then he added, "are you not different sects in Islam? I personally know of Ahmadiyya, Alasunnah and the rest" Me: "They are who they chose and have chosen to be. I submitted to the Will of Allāh (swa), just as all the prophets and messengers(pbut) Including Rasulu'llah (sws), that He sent to command us to. I have submitted to Allāh (swa) through Islam, just as was the command. And the last time I checked, the scriptures still maintain that stand. I accept His Qur'an in it's entirety for guidance. I'm working in lines with it, I accept Rasulu'llah (sws) as His last and final prophet to all mankind, following his teachings to the very best of my capability. I practicalize the 5 Pillars of Islam as much possible to my ability." And as he stared at me in musement and in state of Confusion. I continued: "Does this make me a Muslim or fall under a sect as you put it?" Don't fall for that. Work on your imaan and islamic stamina, that's all you need. Allah is One, and the message from all the prophets and messengers including Isa (Jesus) pbuh and His last and final messenger Rasulu'llah (sws) is, 'Allāh is One, Submit to Him alone'. So I have submitted. Obey Allāh (swa) by reading and obeying the Qur'an, a revelation from Allāh (swa) to the latter. Also read the Sunnah of Rasulu'llah (sws) and be guided by them. That is being a Muslim. So I am a Muslim. The following verses in of the holy Qur'an says "Indeed we have sent Noah to his people, and he said: O my people! Worship Allāh. You have no other God except Him. Verily! I fear for you the Punishment of a Great Day (7:59) And unto (the tribe of) 'Ād (we sent) their brother Hūd. He said: O my people! Worship Allāh. You have no other God save Him. Will you not ward off (evil)? (7:65) And unto Midian (We sent) their brother , Shu'aib. He said: O my people Worship Allāh. You have no other God save Him. (7:85) And to (the tribe of) Thamūd (We sent) their brother Sālih. He said: O my people! Worship Allāh. You have no other God save Him. (7:73) Verily We have raised in every nation an apostle (proclaiming): Worship Allāh and shun false gods. (An Nahl, 16:36). The message of the Qur'an has been specific, 'Worship none but Allāh (swa).' Allāh also says in Quran (7:158) to His messenger, Mohammed(PBUH) saying; "Say: O mankind: Verily I am the Apostle of Allāh to you all. " Masha Allāh there is no confusion in the message of Allāh Subahanna Wata'allah. Carve your path correctly my friend. It was a great and happy discussion after all.
